Every gathering, organized

A durbar is the great gathering of West Africa: chiefs, communities, families and guests in one organized place. Durbar, the product, runs the whole life of one, from booking the hall to scanning the last ticket.

Why we're building it

In Ghana, running an event means one tool for tickets, another for voting, phone calls for the hall, WhatsApp for the chairs and canopies, and paper for everything else. Money arrives late and in pieces. Gates fail when the network does. Graduations go wrong in public, year after year, for reasons software can fix.

Durbar puts it in one place: a space booking that becomes a ticketed event, tickets paid by MoMo, a gate that works offline, refunds that run themselves, and money that goes straight to the organizer.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Easy comes first

A church secretary and a festival promoter use the same product. If a screen needs training, we haven't finished it.

  • No region is special

Bolgatanga and Accra sign up the same way, on the same day. Places are regions, towns, GhanaPost GPS addresses and pins.

  • We never hold your money

Payments go through licensed providers that pay organizers directly. Our fee comes out in plain sight.

  • Nothing sold before it works

Every page says what's available now and what's coming soon. We don't show logos or quotes we haven't earned.

Made in Tamale

Durbar is made by Silentech, a software team in Tamale. Our first pilots are near us in the Northern Region, where we can be at the gate on the day. Sign-up is open to every region from the start.
