Tickets, venues and the gate, in one place

Sell tickets by MoMo or card, let people book your hall online, and scan at the gate even when the network drops. Built in Ghana, for every region.

Free events are free. 3% on paid tickets, with nothing added for buyers. Paid to your MoMo usually the next working day.

Why Durbar

Built around what goes wrong with ticketing today

Hidden fees, payouts held for weeks, scanners that fail when the network does, refunds nobody answers. Each of these is a reason Durbar works the way it does.

  • MoMo first

Buyers pay by MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash or AT Money, or by card, on any phone. No app to install and no account to make.

  • No hidden fees

The price on your page is the price at checkout. Our 3% comes from your share, in plain sight on your sales page, never as a surprise line for the buyer.

  • A gate that works offline

Tickets are signed and checked on the phone, so the queue keeps moving when the network doesn't. Each ticket is let in once, across every phone.

  • Refunds you can trust

Your refund policy is shown before people pay. Buyers refund themselves within it, and cancelling an event refunds everyone, back to MoMo or card.

  • We never hold your money

Payments go through Paystack, which sends your share straight to your MoMo or bank, usually the next working day.

  • Every region, the same day

Sign up from Bolgatanga or Takoradi and go live today. Locations use regions, towns, GhanaPost GPS and a map pin, not a list of big cities.

Gate

The queue keeps moving when the network doesn't

  • Checked on the phone. Every ticket is signed, so the scanner can tell a real one from a forgery with no signal at all.
  • Let in once. Scans sync between phones, and a second scan of the same ticket says when and at which gate it came in.
  • Volunteers in seconds. Send a gate pass link. It scans for one event at one gate, needs no account, and stops after the event.

Pilots

Where we're starting

Our first pilots are near our team in the Northern Region. We'll share how they went once they've run, with their permission; until then, no logos or quotes.

  • Pilot

    A university congregation

Graduand list, confirmation portal and guest tickets for one congregation, end to end.

  • Pilot

    Halls and meeting rooms

Venues in the Northern Region taking bookings and payments online for the first time.

  • Pilot

    Event organizers

Ticketed concerts and conferences, with volunteers scanning at the gate on their own phones.

You don't need to be a pilot to start. Create your account and your first free event or space is live today, at no cost.

Questions organizers ask

What does Durbar cost?

Free events and free bookings cost nothing. On paid tickets and paid bookings, Durbar takes 3% of each order from your share, and Paystack takes its processing fee. There's no subscription, setup fee or charge per team member.

Do my buyers pay extra fees?

No. Buyers pay exactly the price on your page. Nothing is added at checkout.

How do I get paid?

Add your MoMo number or bank account in Payouts. Paystack sends your share there, usually the next working day. Durbar never holds it.

Do I need a smartphone app?

No. The console and the gate scanner run in the browser on any phone or computer. Volunteers scan with a link, without an account.

Is Durbar only for Accra?

No. Every region of Ghana is on Durbar from day one. Our team is in Tamale, which is where our first pilots are.

What isn't built yet?

Reserved seating, door sales, wallet passes, and selling tickets or taking votes by USSD and WhatsApp, among others. Each module's page lists what's coming soon, and nothing is sold before it works.
