Jobs: work your customers' print jobs in one place
For print partners with their own Durbar organization: connect your listing, then confirm, make, check and dispatch every customer's job as your team.
Checked against Durbar on
When organizations order print from you through Durbar, each job comes with its own partner link. If your print room also runs its own Durbar organization, Jobs puts every customer's job in one queue, and your team works them as themselves.
Connect your listing
- Ask Durbar support to connect your print partner listing. They check the organization is yours and send an invitation link to the listing's email address.
- An owner or admin opens the link while signed in to your organization. Confirm it's you with a passkey if asked.
- Choose Connect with your listing's name. Jobs is switched on, and your customers' jobs appear in it.
You can disconnect a listing from the bottom of Jobs. The jobs leave Jobs, and each stays on its own partner link, which keeps working.
The views
- Today: what you can do now. Jobs to confirm, ones due to start, reworks, and checked items to dispatch.
- This week: how many items must leave you each day to arrive by their promised dates, with the jobs under each day. A feel for the load, not a forecast.
- Waiting on the customer: jobs whose proof isn't approved yet, or whose deposit or balance isn't paid. Don't start these.
- Late or at risk: past their promised date, promised after the customer needs them, or past the day they should have started.
- Done: delivered and cancelled in the last 30 days.
Each job shows the customer, the item, quantities and sizes, the proof and whether its print file is ready, the date the customer needs it, the date you promised, and the next step.
Work a job
- Open the job. Check what to make, the sizes and the date, then choose Confirm the job.
- Under Delivery date, confirm the date or change it. A change needs a reason: the customer reads it, and a date after they need it asks them to accept it.
- Download the print file from The job. Once the deposit is paid, choose Start production.
- At the quality check, add photos. If some failed, switch off All passed, say how many passed, which sizes failed, why, and whose fault it is. Ours are remade as a rework of the same job.
- Choose Mark as dispatched, with Tracking if you have it. The recipient is texted a code.
- At the door, add a delivery photo and enter the recipient's code under Confirm delivery.
If the customer changes the quantity before you start, you're sent a message, and the job moves to Today with Confirm the new quantity: the new number and sizes, and the old number. Check it and confirm. Production can't start until you do. Change the date too if the new quantity needs longer.
Every step is recorded under your own name on the customer's order, as one of your listing's team, and on your organization's activity log. A gift packing job lists each kit with that kit's address: pack, dispatch and hand over each one.
