Payouts and fees

Set up where your money goes, when it arrives, and what Durbar and Paystack take.

Set up payouts

  1. In the console, open Payouts.
  2. Confirm it's you with your passkey. If you haven't got one, choose Add a passkey and continue.
  3. Under Get paid by, choose Mobile Money (the network and your MoMo number) or Bank account (the bank and account number).
  4. Choose Save payout account.

Setting up payouts needs the Owner or Finance role. You need payouts before you can publish an event with paid tickets or take paid bookings. Each change to the account asks you to confirm with your passkey again.

When the money arrives

Buyers pay through Paystack, which sends your share straight to your account, usually the next working day. Durbar never holds your money.

What it costs

  • Free tickets and free bookings: nothing.
  • Paid tickets and paid bookings from your public page: Durbar's fee is 3% of the order, taken from your share. On a booking that's the price and any add-ons, never the deposit.
  • Paid votes: 3% of each payment, taken from your share.
  • Gowns from your regalia shop: 3% of the price, never the deposit, taken from your share.
  • Rentals: 3% of the rental and the delivery fee, never of the deposit, taken from the vendor's share.
  • Studio orders and gift kits: you pay the print partner's quoted price, with nothing added. Durbar's 10% comes out of the partner's share when they're paid.
  • Paystack's processing fee, about 1.95%, is also taken from your share.
  • Buyers and bookers pay exactly the price shown. Nothing is added at checkout.

Each event's Sales section shows what you sold, discounts given, refunds, the fee, and your share. Payouts adds up everything you run: see See all your money in one place. The pricing page has a calculator.
