Checked against Durbar on
Sign in or create an account
Durbar has no passwords. Enter your phone number or email, and type the 6-digit code we send. The first code you use creates your account. A code works for 10 minutes. You stay signed in while you keep using Durbar, and are asked again after 30 days away.
If a code doesn't work
- That code didn't work: check it, or choose Send a new code.
- If you've asked for several codes or had too many tries, the page says how long to wait. Wait that long, then try once more.
- If nothing arrives, check the number or address you typed, then choose Use a different number or Use a different email.
- With a passkey you can skip the code altogether.
Add a passkey
In Account, choose Add a passkey: your phone's or computer's fingerprint, face or screen lock. You can sign in with it. It's also how Durbar checks it's really you before anything that moves money or changes who can do what. Those steps ask you to confirm: payouts, your team, settings, refunds, voting results and large gift campaigns.
If you're asked and have no passkey, choose Add a passkey and continue and carry on from the same page. A code can't stand in for it. If your device says it didn't check it's you, turn on a screen lock and try again.
If you lose your only passkey, choose I lost my passkey in Account. You, and your organization's owners, are told at once, and you can add a new one after a 72-hour wait. If it wasn't you, choose Stop this. An owner's last passkey can't be removed: add another first, or make someone else an owner.
Invite your team
In Team, invite people by phone or email and give each a role, such as Admin, Manager, Finance, Gate staff or Viewer. The form lists the roles you can give, and each one says what it's for. An invitation link works for 7 days, for the number or address you entered. You can change roles, remove people and take back invitations.
Switch modules on
In Settings, an owner or admin can switch on only what you run: Events, Guests, Gate, Seating, Voting, Spaces, Rentals, Studio, Gifting, Jobs and Institutions (graduations and congregations). Anything a module needs is switched on with it: Guests, Gate, Seating and Voting bring Events, Gifting brings Studio, and Institutions brings Events, Gate and Seating. A module that's switched off leaves the menu. If you follow a link to its page, the page says what it does and links to Settings.
Light or dark
Durbar opens in the light theme. In the console, choose another under Appearance in your account menu. On the public site, choose Light, Dark or System at the foot of any page; System follows your device.
Find anything
Press Ctrl+K (⌘K on a Mac), or choose Search in the top bar. Before you type, it lists what was worked on most recently. Then it finds, by name, reference, email or phone number in any format:
- Events and Ticket orders, by event name, DUR reference or the buyer.
- Spaces and Bookings, by space name, DUR reference or the booker.
- Rental items and Rentals, by item name, DUR reference or the renter.
- Studio designs, Studio orders and Studio smart items, by design name, order reference, smart item label, campaign or code.
- Gift campaigns, by name or who they're from.
- Congregations and Graduands, by title, academic year, name or index number.
- Support cases, by CASE number or the reference of the rental or order they're about.
Search shows only what your role can open: if you can't open Studio, you won't find a design. It shows up to six of each kind; when there are more, the last row says so and opens the full list.
