Add a ticket type
On the event's page, in Tickets, add a type for each kind of ticket you sell or give away.
- Ticket name, up to 60 characters, such as Regular or VIP.
- Price: 0 for free. A paid ticket is at least GH₵1.00.
- How many you have, and Most per order (1 to 50, 10 unless you change it).
- People per ticket: how many it lets in. A Table of 10 lets 10 in, and the buyer gets a QR code for each person. How many counts tables, not people. Once a ticket of the type is out it can't change, since each already has its QR codes: for another size, add another ticket type.
- What's included, in a line.
- Sales open and Sales close. Left blank, sales open when you publish and close when the event ends.
- Hide from the event page, for tickets only a code unlocks.
Free tickets are issued at once. Paid tickets are held for 15 minutes while the buyer pays, then released if they don't. A published event always keeps at least one ticket type.
Tables: tickets and people
A ticket for several people is one sale and a place for each of them. Wherever Durbar counts, it says both: Tickets shows "3 of 4 issued · 30 people", Attendees "4 tickets · 40 people issued", and the gate "Table of 10 23 of 40 in · 4 tickets". Sales counts tickets sold, and people checked in against the people your tickets let in. Where every ticket lets one person in, you only see tickets.
Create a code
In the event's Codes section, choose what kind of code you want:
- One code to share: 3 to 24 letters, digits or dashes, such as EARLYBIRD.
- One-use codes for a list: 1 to 500 random codes at once, with an optional prefix. Each works for one ticket unless you change it.
Then choose what it does:
- Percent off, from 1 to 100.
- Amount off each ticket.
- Unlock only: it shows hidden tickets and changes no price.
You can limit a code to some ticket types, cap how many tickets it covers, and set when it works from and until. Pause a code and turn it back on whenever you like. Its state shows as Active, Paused, Scheduled, Expired or Used up.
What buyers see
Buyers type a code under Have a code?, or open a link that already carries it. The saving shows before they pay, and the total is the full price: no fees are added. A discount never leaves a paid ticket under GH₵1.00; it is either at least GH₵1.00 or free.
